Participants must be County residents to win. Selected winners are required to show proof of residency, either by showing their ID or a recent bill with their name and address on it, when receiving their Family Day Basket.

About the Contest

  • Entries will be accepted from Feb 13-22, 2026
  • To be eligible, participants must complete an activity over the Family Day long weekend
  • This draw must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided
  • The winner(s) will be selected by a random draw under the supervision of the County of Grande Prairie
  • Winner(s) will be notified within five (5) days of being selected
  • Photos must not contain profanity or obscene gestures in the photos

To Participate:

  • Upload a separate photo of every activity you complete for more chances to win
  • Fill out a short survey letting us know about your Family Day experience!

    Personal information collected on this form, including the photos you choose to submit of yourself engaged in Family Day activities, will be used for the purpose of promoting the Family Day Event on the County website and in County social media posts, as well as conducting the associated Prize Draw. This collection is authorized by Section 4(c) of the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) and the information collected will also be subject to the Access to Information Act.
