Consultation has concluded
Residents, businesses, and other community members are encouraged to have their say on the future of the northeast section of the Hamlet of Clairmont.
An Area Structure Plan (ASP) is being developed for the area located north of Highway 43, east of Clairmont Lake, south of Township Road 730, and to the east boundary of Clairmont. The plan will guide future development of the over 3,300 acres, outlining future land use and development plans, including roads and other infrastructure.
Public Participation
Nearby landowners, industry members, other key stakeholders and the public will be invited to participate and share feedback throughout the planning process. The first phase of public participation will be in Fall 2020, with the public invited to participate in engagement activities that will inform the draft ASP. Then in Spring 2021, an updated draft will be presented for additional review and feedback before being finalized.
Following the Open House on April 26th, 2022, a finalized draft of the NE Clairmont ASP was developed.
There will be a hearing for the NE Clairmont Area Structure Plan on May 30th, 2022.
