Coming Soon: Hythe’s Zoning Integration Engagement

The former Village of Hythe was dissolved on July 1, 2021, and became part of the County of Grande Prairie. Since that time, properties in Hythe have continued to be regulated under the former Village Land Use Bylaw (LUB), while the rest of the County is regulated under the County’s Land Use Bylaw. This means different regulations are currently being applied when processing the same application.


Zoning integration means bringing Hythe under the County’s Land Use Bylaw, so the same zoning rules apply consistently across the County.


🏡 In-Person Open Houses

We’ll be attending the Hythe’s Zoning Integration open house. At this event, you can:
· Speak directly with the project team.
· Ask questions about the Zoning Integration and learn how it may affect your land.
· Share your comments in person.
The event is a drop-in, which means you can stop by at any time during the event.
