Final Draft of the Municipal Development Plan Now Available
We’re excited to share that the Final Draft of the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) has been prepared and uploaded to the Plan Your County project webpage.
What We Heard – Report 3 is also available. This report summarizes feedback received during the Spring 2025 public consultation, including input from residents, landowners, and other stakeholders.
Both documents can be found in the Documents section of the project webpage.
What’s Next?
The Municipal Development Plan project is now moving into the Public Hearing and Approvals stage. This process includes:
- One public hearing before County Council, and
- Three readings of the bylaw by Council prior to a decision on adoption.
Members of the public will have an opportunity to speak at the public hearing before Council makes a decision on the proposed bylaw. The date and time of the public hearing will be confirmed and shared soon.
