The County of Grande Prairie has scheduled a Public Hearing for Bylaw #3255 - The Municipal Development Plan (MDP) in accordance with the MGA. The public hearing will be held on March 9, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located in the County Administration Building at 10001 – 84 Avenue, Clairmont, Alberta, T8X 5B2.

A Final Draft of the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) is available for review in the Project Documents section of the Plan Your County project webpage.

The exact start times for individual public hearings cannot be provided. Anyone wishing to participate in the hearing may do so by submitting written comments or by making a presentation at the public hearing before Council considers adoption of the bylaw.

Written submissions must be received at least five (5) days prior to the meeting date. Late submissions received before 1:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing will be read into the record. Submissions received after the hearing is closed cannot be considered.

Council meetings are open to the public and are live streamed through the County’s Council Meeting Portal. Information on how to view the meeting or participate in the public hearing is available at www.countygp.ab.ca/council-administration/council/.
